In 2015, a group of researchers from the Food and Environment Research Institute of the United Kingdom, the Food Research Institute of the TubitakMarmara Research Center in Turkey, and the RIKILT Institute for Food Safety in the Netherlands conducted a study on tio2 for latex paint. Smaller tio2 for latex paint particles.

Their research found that there was no "significant internal exposure of consumers to tio2 for latex paint particles".

Andrew Maynard, a professor of environmental science at the University of Michigan, doesn't care about its characteristics and its impact on humans either. In an article in 2015, he said: "tio2 for latex paint is a rather dull chemical substance." It is insoluble in water. It doesn't react particularly. It is not easily absorbed into the body from food. It doesn't seem to cause any adverse health problems.
